BENEFIT CORPORATION AND B CORPORATION*

In April 2016, we joined the B Corp* movement.
Being a B Corp* does not mean that a company is perfect or has achieved its maximum positive impact.
However, it demonstrates that it is part of a global movement of companies working collectively, leveraging the principle of interdependence, to transform economic paradigms and, to continue this commitment, must meet increasing social and environmental performance standards.Visit our profile on the B Corp* website.

A year later, in April 2017, we took another step forward and became a Benefit Corporation. This new corporate form was introduced in 2016 in Italy, the only country outside the United States, where corporate purpose formally integrates specific goals of common benefit alongside profit objectives. This new legal tool creates a solid foundation for long-term mission alignment and the creation of shared value.

As a Benefit Corporation, we are required to produce an annual Impact Report outlining progress against the specific goals included in our charter and communicating targets for the new year. For more information, read our 2023 Impact Report.

B Corp* Beauty Coalition and Co2alition

Antica Erboristeria participates in cross-sector working groups to raise sustainability standards, fostering positive and synergistic collaboration among exemplary companies: the Co2alition, the first platform in Italy to promote climate neutrality, the B Corp* network, and the Beauty Coalition, an alliance of over 70 B Corp* companies in the cosmetics sector worldwide.
