Declaration of Accessibility of the website www.herbatint.com

1. Introduction and regulatory references

Bierba S.r.l., as the owner of the website www.herbatint.com, undertakes to make this site accessible in accordance with Law 9 January 2004, no. 4 (“Stanca Act”) and Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act – EAA).

This declaration is drafted in compliance with the requirements set out in Annex 1 of the AGID Guidelines and Appendix A of the UNI CEI EN 301 549 standard (which incorporates WCAG 2.1 level AA).

2. Compliance status

Partially compliant.
The site has been designed to meet all applicable requirements; however, some limited non-compliances remain (see § 3). Bierba S.r.l. has initiated an action plan to achieve full compliance by Q4 2025.

3. Content or functionality not yet fully accessible

VIDEO TUTORIALS:

Current situation: available with text and subtitles in Italian, French and English; for the German, Dutch, Spanish and Portuguese versions, the English version is currently used.

Planned action: localise the videos by adding the relevant subtitles in all missing languages by Q4 2025.

“IMPACT REPORT” PDF FILE

Current situation: the PDF does not meet accessibility requirements in terms of tagging. It is currently available in Italian, English and French. For the remaining languages, the English version has been implemented.

Planned action: produce accessible versions of the PDF document in all languages by Q4 2025.

THEME (Shopify)

Current situation: some minor defects persist (search-bar focus, visible focus of certain widgets, contrast in some secondary widgets).

Planned action: update by the external supplier (RoarTheme) with a new theme release by August 2025.

RESIDUAL COLOUR CONTRAST

Current situation: some residual secondary texts do not reach the minimum 4.5:1 ratio.

Planned action: adjust the CSS with a complete colour audit by Q3 2025.

FORM LABELS

Current situation: some secondary forms lack programmatic labels or contextual instructions.

Planned action: review the form markup by September 2025.

ALTERNATIVE CONTENT: until these actions are completed, an accessible alternative will be provided upon request.

4. Evaluation method

The evaluation was carried out through an internal self-audit combining:

WAVE (WebAIM), axe DevTools, Lighthouse.

on a representative sample of pages, using desktop/mobile browsers and screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver).

No independent external audit has yet been conducted; this explains the “partially compliant” status.

5. Contact and feedback mechanisms

Users can report accessibility issues or request alternative content via:

By using the contact form and selecting “Website accessibility report” under “Reason for contact” in the drop-down menu.
